Our family business has been involved in farming for three generations: initially as a local fruit and vegetable producer, followed by its entry, in 1968, in the floriculture sector, up to its development into a company recognised at national and European level.
The agricultural company Bulzaga was founded in 2009. Located on via Pideura 19, Brisighella, it soon broadened its horizons to wine production and with the help of the renowned oenologist Sergio Ragazzini, produced its first wines in 2010.
The endeavour proved to be a success in 2011/2012 and 2013 saw the expansion of the company’s cellar.
Given the extensive and rich supply which characterises this sector, we have decided to focus on autochtonous and alternative varieties, although our cellar does also contain traditional wines.
The excellent position of our vine groves, located on a hill 200 metres above sea level, clay-rich soils, nocturnal thermal excursion, coupled with state-of-the-art technologies and the expertise of a skilled oenologist, have enabled us to rapidly achieve pleasing qualitative standards. Our rigorous production is reflected in numbers: in 2012 we produced approximately 30,000 bottles and 280 hl of unbottled wine, using only grapes from our own vine fields.
Our wines have been described as fresh, genuine, refined and elegant at various events of the sector.
